About Jane Freeman
Jane Freeman is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (ASDA) and an Accredited Practicing Nutritionist (APN), British medical association award-wining cancer book author and Leith's trained cook who has over 25 years of nutrition and dietetic practice experiences. Jane is also an Accredited Sports Dietitian (ASDA) and has an elite International Olympic Committee (IOC) graduate diploma in performance and sports nutrition. While Jane has a personal interest in sports nutrition, her research interests have looked into the parallels between the nutritional needs of high-level sportspeople and people who are working through the stress and metabolic impacts of cancer and the treatments.
Jane's approach is thorough, understands and spends the time needed to piece together the challenges and impacts of any medical or health issues, with the specific dietary updates needed to help with best health, performance and any treatment outcomes.
In doing this she will also help you to find the easiest and smartest way to action changes needed. This includes working out clear meal plan targets, providing lots of nourishing meal, snack or supplement suggestions and she will share her kitchen know-how, gained from many years of working with people who have been able to enjoy being able to eat their way toward their health goals.
Since returning to Sydney after working as a Dietitian abroad for 13 years, she has invested in building her Canutrition practice and the Cancook add ons. It is her mission to enable people to be able to love and enjoy eating food that lifts, loads or lightens, as well as gives them their best chance.
